ggrrrrr spare wheel!!
I like many owners i suspect bought my 180 with a can of foam instead of a spare wheel, well a while back I purchased a spare alloy to use as a spare and its sat in my garage for ages. Yesterday finally got round to putting a tyre on it and..........It dosen't fit in the BL****Y boot well, what a plonker!!!! should of checked first, thinking about it, it makes sense as it was designed for the 400. DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, that's why it was a cannistor or a spacesaver. The alloy wheel sits proud and leaves a hump.
|
The alloy will never sit in the boot properly as it is too big. Other options are to buy a full size steel wheel or a space saver.
|
At one point I had a full size alloy as a spare, built a false floor but you lost about 2-3" in depth of boot.
After a few years I went back to the spacesaver As I never needed the spare. |
I have a space saver brand new with bridgestone tyre on it for sale..
