Visited my uncle yesterday who had a 280 Capri back in the day and we started a chat about his cars.

Had a look on the bay this morning at retros and came accross an auction that I'm glad I can't go to.

The Carlton was the UK version, europe got the Lotus Omega.......customer of mine has 3 in his workshop.....!!!

I'd have thought that Lotus Carlton was worth a lot more.

Exactly that, I know it says it's a guide price but would have thought that's miles out? £16-20k maybe?

Mint and low mileage Lotus Carltons are worth a lot more than that, the clue is in the write up, "an honest interior matching age and mileage" = It's a bit tatty lol.
