Oil temperature gauge
 

What do people do for checking the oil temp?
I'd quite like to keep an eye on how it's going if you know what I mean....

Having an oil to coolant cooler the temp should remain fairly stable.

The F has a oil temp gauge and TBH the only thing I use it for is to know when the engine is warm enough to give it some beans as it doesn't have the oil to coolant cooler.

I find these quite useful although I agree the oil temp is probably the least needed but it is nice to be able to see what it's doing.
