Why do eBay breakers insist on taking the p1$$!?
Emailed a couple of breakers today with regards to their 45's
Wanting the seat backs with pockets and the headlamp washers as I broke the connector for one of mine. Two of them emailed me back: 1. - For the seat backs (both of which had one of the sides of the map pockets broken - £60 delivered for the pair. And the washers, wouldn't separate from the bumper but he would "do me a deal" for £100 for the bumper from £120. I could then sell the bumper on if I wanted. Needless to say I politely declined. 2. - wouldn't separate the seat backs. But I could have the full leather seats for £100 for the lot + arrange my own courier. The headlamp jets he would separate however. £31 quid for one delivered or £55 for the pair delivered. I also politely declined this offer. Why do they insist on taking the puss with their prices. They'll end up not selling and then just scrap the rest of the good stuff because they price themselves out of buyers! Idiots. Rant over. |
I agree, but people do pay their prices, unbelievable I know, but true.

One tried to charge me £150 for a set of very badly worn monacos.

I've found that ebay people who are just breaking car usually do good deals.....the last set of ecus I bought off fleabay for the pug was 50 delivered.....this last lot I bought of a proper breakers last week cost 130 delivered. Depends how desparate you get!
