Admiral won't accept it on a multi-car ..... Otherwise we'd be talking.

Never mind the insurance! Trailer it to track!!!

IF I had the spare cash (which I don't sadly) I'd be considering popping it in my MK2 if it could give me 250BHP!

Nowhere to keep it so it'd have to be taxed, tested and insured....

£600 for it .....

You'd get about £350 for the v6 out of your other car and then £100 to weigh it in for scrap. £50 for the wheels and you'd have the conversion almost for nowt.

Sky Insurance are the ones to talk to buddy if you are serious about driving the car on the road.

I'll try them Jim - the issue is though that with a multi car on Admiral they'll give me 15 yrs no claims on the 2nd car too ..... I'll try them mate - but doubt they'd be competitive.

Does the log book show it as having had a new engine ?

Ah but then I have to figure in the conversion costs too! Plus I'd need to use the track car while it was off getting it done. Then there is the extra costs for parts that are still needed to convert!

I will have to check but since it was a 2 litre non turbo to start with I doubt it would have changed on the logbook. I would imagine the engine serial number will need changing but that can be done when the new owner fills in their details.
