The last hub nut i took of my ZS was wound up to 450ftlb ! I had to use an hgv high torque breaker to shift the ******.

Love it at work when monkeys have been working on cars previosly, overtightning things, wheel nuts that are meant to be torqued at 100Nm tightenened to 400Nm, sump plugs that are meant to be nipped and you have to use a 1/2" breaker bar

Hub on, wheel on, just the wing to fix now.

Makes me wonder if people can use a torque wrench. I've just changed the oil on my Freelander's IRD (transfer box) would you believe the drain plug was wound up to well over 100 ft yet the filler plug was finger tight. This i one of many torque errors I found including a random selection of head bolt torques too. The car has always been to the same main stealer for all its work, you'd think they would know better?
