My girlfriend lives in Norwich at the minute and her friends and housemates haven't a bloody clue what I'm saying and I even tone it down for them!
Her mum is from Devon and she struggles with me even though she's lived in Cheshire and taught in Manchester for nearly 30 years.

I guess I need to speak a bit clearer.

From what I can understand folk here mumble and just plain moan about everything. That and missing syllables from words, e.g t'pub.

Starting to make sense now ;)
