Something we will have, "to try harder", as all my teachers used to say.

Trouble is we cover the whole country and as you are from Carisle, everywhere is a fair way to go.

We usually have a stand at POL, Pride of Longbridge, meet up at Hopwood services and convoy the 10 mins or so to the park. 11th of April this year.

We will have to put it up as a meet and see what interest we get.

Last year we were stuffed away in a lower field, great for getting out, but we didnt feel part of the crowd.

Back to "must try harder", and get us on the Hill, this time.

The missus and I are heading to Thruxton for the Btcc this year so will be a bit closer to a lot of you guys this year I think.

I go to PoL so you're more than welcome to convoy down with me if you do go.

We're few and far between past Manchester and west of Newcastle.
And then there seems to be a decent crowd in Scotland.

Looking forward to POL this year - you'll find me with the Diesel Owner's Club. Should be brilliant. :D

I might even go to that myself! First meet for me ever!

might seem ignorant but what do both meets entail,day-night.

Never been to brooklands. And is a fair trek but I could see if the Mrs is interested as she lives out Norwich way.
The only problem being that PoL is a week after brooklands.

In terms of what happens, PoL is normally just a day long look at other rover things and have a general craic with other MG-R people.
Depending on the weekend I'll either travel from my mrs parents house close to Lymm/poplar 2000 services or, like last year, I stayed in a premier inn in Birmingham. Either way I travel part way the night before as to get there for 9am from is is a bit much lol.
But I'm game for picking up convoy-wise from Lymm services. And think a bit of drumming up interest might yield a couple others.
