Simon Norris crashed the evo.

Simon Norris has had a big off in his Evo, for those that don’t know Simon look it up on the web, you’ll soon understand how well known he is among the race fraternity.
Such a shame but bloody glad all involved walked away.

the in car vid is a reminder of how the best can be caught out at CC.

TBH there is nothing Simon could have done to avoid that. He was taking part in the brit car series i think it was and is a good example of how well he builds the safety fetures of his cars.

Having driven Castle Combe more times than i car to remember (in everything from my ZR160 to my CTR to my current ZS, yes i actually track day my diesel ZS) it is a very challanging track just beacuse of its high speed and i have seen many have some very nasty accidents there.

Looks nasty, but not uncommon in racing. I'm not sure why the car was left running though...
