Track parts.

got a bit of spare cash and lookin for a roll cage and possibly a stack dash, I'd also like some carbon headlight covers to blank the holes that'll be left when the lights come out.

That's alot of spare cash then!

The stack dash will be worth more than the car!!

Steve mead 05-06-12 09:04 PM

Oh and you should see the size of the manual on them. Never understood half the things on mine.

secured a big contract so it's coming in steady now. maybe enough to smarten up the black 180 too. (respray fix bumpers, wings etc)

I'm hopin my dad will understand it. he fitted the stack in the xr so he should manage it.

This was mine, reset buttons top left and right of wheel, gearchange light top left, was very impressive.

Adamzs180 05-06-12 09:15 PM

Thats a nice lookin set up.

Steve mead 05-06-12 09:18 PM

Silly thing about was I only caught a glimpse of the gear change light!!! The car was very well thought out.

Adamzs180 05-06-12 09:28 PM

How did you see the lights at all. I'm assuming with your hands at the wheel they're pretty much obscured from view. As i'll have more space to play with i was planning on running lights on the a pillar. I was also wondering if i welded the rear doors would it stiffen the car up at all?

I've only been involved with the race technology and DTA digital dashboards, and the race technology dash is so easy to use. it's a bit of a faff to set up at first but after that it's a fantastic bit of kit - plus adding datalogging at a later date is just a case of plugging in into the brain

Thats not a bad price and from DT thats saying something. Can you change the 4 sensors readouts easily enough. for example could you set it up for boost, oil temp, water temp, and exhaust temp one day then change one to read air flow rates for example?

Maxxed_Ross 06-06-12 11:39 PM

They are hard wired into the loom, so I doubt it would be a quick swap... unless you had them switched before the loom.

...or you could do what I've done with the touring car:

So i could fit 4 readouts to the dash and anything else could be set on it's own readout. Are tyre pressure/temp sensors and brake temp sensors easy to get hold of?

Maxxed_Ross 07-06-12 09:48 PM

no idea, we use a heat gun
