No lol my holes are miniscule, just as I planned it. Maybe he has updated the listing to something different since then.

For me chrome is far to show-off, even on a silver car. Depends on colour scheme I guess. Cant go wrong with the classics. (Silver or Black)

Go away tacky standard Fascia!

Never completely stripped the console down before, surprised at how easy it is.

Cut that crap piece of plastic out of the back, the HU fit fine before but it was a bit tight. Straight in now.

Looks loads better like that! Need to polish off those fingerprints though!

I still need to send off my mk1 insert to dazza to see if he can match the colour of them so the interior will match my door cards.

Is the passengers strip easy to take off?

Its getting cleaned again tomorrow so no fingerprints ;)

Yes it is simple, pull the console away slightly and you can release the strip by unhooking the top and pulling out of the gripers on the bottom. 3 sets along the length I think, literally took 2 minutes.

Well, fixed the climate control this morning. Changed the External Temp Sensor, mounted on the NS fog light bracket.

The problem:
http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/...psda77bc02.jpg

Car jacked up, wheels left ON, under-tray taken off... Disconnected the plug.
http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/...psbe15327e.jpg

You see that patch of water on the ground? This is the water from the plug/sleeve that didn't land on my head. Serious water ingress here.

Plug cleaned & WD-40'ed, problem still the same.

Unhooked the NS of the bumper and got my hand in to unhook the sensor. It isn't bolted on so you could probably do this job without releasing the bumper, it just slips between some grooves.

Attach the new sensor and test with it just dangling,
Job is a good'un.

Indeed it does, I wasn't happy with mine without the frame of the old mesh so ground it all off and sprayed it red. Started this before the bump but as I had to get the bumper off today thought I'd see how it would have looked.
