New tyres BEFORE Pete .... I'd have been tempted to use up whatever was left on the old ones ....

Yep all booked up and I'll be there, and hopefully with a working set of vis motors to get me back up there in the power band I should be ....

Guys be careful with new road tyres on track, when they get worked hard they overheat and large chunks start peeling off. Scrubbed or part worn are much better.

peterzs 22-02-13 09:25 AM

Thats why I bought them now, on the last MoT got advisories that both front inner edges were worn. Will be scrubbed in by the time Brands comes round.

I also need a new rear for the Mot, as it had a cut. Asked for a front wheel alignment at the time and the guy said it wasnt worth it as the tyres were shot.

They had lasted well, not worth pushing it till April and hoping they would hang on.

Crash helmet, I'm afraid. They do hire out at £10 per session, if you get in quick!!!

Good to see you.
