'Do stuff' meet #2

Well gentleman, time to arrange another 'do stuff' meet at mine if anyone is up for it? By the time we arrange it I may well have completed the bulk of my work so there will be room for others to have any work done, assist etc. Kathy is more than happy to light the BBQ in the afternoon so we can make a day of it. Sunday is the only day as we are all available all day.

Anyone interested, work required, etc and preferred Sundays coming up in the next couple of sunny months?

M17TT180 30-06-13 08:07 AM

Yes sir.

daytona365 30-06-13 08:29 AM

Im up for it, just hope its a sunday i can make. I can come and get my gloves and old tshirts back lol.

Dan1971 30-06-13 08:48 AM

Defo in ....

Don't want to take over - idea is mainly to get yours back up and running.

However I've got plenty for us to do. I've got a vis indicator kit to sort out and adjust my handbrake before the MOT in August. Are lowering springs within our collective knowledge and tools ? And .... I've got some viper stripes ... ;)

Sounds like a convoy so far too .... :mml:

Phate 30-06-13 09:51 AM

I'd like to come to this and see you all again :)

However, I don't have a free Sunday till August! :o

stamford 30-06-13 09:53 AM

We'll do what we can to make it a date for everyone. Like I said I may well get mine done before then so we can look to do what others need doing. The meet is not so much for me but a social and for anyone needing help with theirs.

Dan, got the tools for spring swapping, only assuming we have no grief with the top nuts on the front, the anti-rotate flats are not that strong. Hopefully the impact gun will do the trick here.

carmadbaker 30-06-13 11:48 AM

Sounds like fun :-) date dependant i may be able to lend a hand! Unless someone can map omex...

talkingcars 30-06-13 12:19 PM

Up for this, don't have anything major on FE54 (or the other Zeds, F needs a water pump and maestro needs 100s of hours) but willing to lend a hand or supply some tools although I'll struggle to get the hoist in now with the strut brace.

I can do some electrical stuff such as steering wheel audio remote wiring although I wont source the control box.

Craig-ZS180 30-06-13 01:11 PM

I'd be up for popping along, mainly to meet the majority I haven't as of yet. As with most date dependant but am pretty flexible :)

talkingcars 30-06-13 03:06 PM

Saturdays are hard for me, wife works until 2pm and I dog sit around seeing my mother in the morning.

maxtherotti 30-06-13 06:43 PM

Only yanking ya cord chap

Rob

stamford 30-06-13 06:45 PM

Guess I'll have to tow my caravan to you and a mobile 'do stuff' meet! :D

Having three dogs ramps up the costs! Looks a nice place though.

Phate 01-07-13 07:20 AM

Can't do the 28th! Not free until August. No matter!

M17TT180 01-07-13 07:56 AM

The 28th is the same day as the halfway house meet.

peterzs 01-07-13 08:20 AM

Yes, said I'd go to that one.

Could pop in on the way back, just when the BBQ is fired up!!!!

:crockett::crockett::crockett: :clap::clap::clap:

Craig-ZS180 01-07-13 09:38 AM

Unfortunately the 28th isn't one I'm going to be able to make. Maybe if another happens in the nearer future can pop along then.
Sorry gents.

Wildcat 04-07-13 07:26 PM

I should be free on the 28th if all goes ahead, assuming I'm invited of course

Dan1971 04-07-13 08:53 PM

Maybe not the best date as it clashes with the halfway house and quite a few committed to that .....

Rob

stamford 04-07-13 09:22 PM

28th is not fixed, just need peeps to make some noise as to what fits best for all and me of course! :D

Dan1971 04-07-13 09:29 PM

1st 2 weekends in August are out for me ...

stamford 18-07-13 08:10 PM

Is there any interest from anyone for the 28th July? If not we'll have to look at another date to make it worthwhile.

Dan1971 18-07-13 08:21 PM

I'm in and still need to get my brakes sorted - but know it clashes with the Brentwood meet.

stamford 18-07-13 08:30 PM

I still have my handbrake to do this weekend and get it booked in for the 27th for its MOT! :w00t:

peterzs 19-07-13 08:23 AM

Planing to drop in on the way back from the Brentwood meet to pick up my goodies.

Thats if my hand has healed after a quick visit to A & E, after the flipping (or any other word that comes to mind) dog, decided to change his grip on his Winnie the Pooh, that we were having a tug of war game with!!!!!

Pete you will never win when playing tug of war with the dogs! Hope it's not too bad.

petet16 19-07-13 09:06 AM

You tried to steal the dogs Winnie the Pooh :trampoline:

peterzs 19-07-13 09:20 AM

Learnt that lesson!!!!

:whistle::whistle::whistle:

MG 53 ZED 19-07-13 12:58 PM

I'd like to come along and learn/help but will not be able to make the 28th.

ZS 19-07-13 01:49 PM

There is a possibility that my sister will be up that weekend (she's looking after my kids for the next week) so I may be able to pop along on the 28th as well :)

Not promising anything... but if I can I will!

stamford 19-07-13 07:42 PM

I'm happy for anyone who wants to come on the 28th, just let me know this week in advance so I can ensure A) I'll be here and B) if enough interest a BBQ perhaps.

All going well my zed will have passed it MOT the Saturday before but won't be taxed until the 1st August.
