now that would look stunning! Stevie was tempted to get one, i wonder what he will say when he sees it. i think they are pretty rare in coming up for sale.

It can be done but you would need to cut the front wings to fit the sharks gills :eek:. Not for the faint hearted!! And the bumpers would need to MK2 versions as well.

I had comtemplated doing the oval hotrod conversion, steel wings extensions and side sills, gives it the really agressive look, but then added up the cost of wider rims and thought better of it!

A guy called "Action Al" on XPF did this to his MK1 hatch. He had the MK2 rear bumper plastic welded to cover the recess for the number plate as he had decided to maintain the MK1 hatch. Nice job too.
