wheres it booked in?
takes about 5 minutes to get into it and turned on, you could get ur fuelling adaptions reset to 100% but i wouldnt if its running okay, also you can activate deactivate speed locking n things like the dribble wipe after the washers have been on

Autotec Wishaw. they said it would be an hour to get into the Diagnostics etc.

doesnt take that long at all, well depends if it connects but to get into the system takes about 5 minutes, n its a click box for the fog lights, then you save the settings then disconnect it

X-part guy near me quotes £40 for a session lasting an hour. I'm unsure whether to go to him or not. Another garage has done a diagnostic for me but it came up no faults.

Would a T4 show up anything else ?

Ritchy 24-02-10 05:29 PM

nah t4 you can manipulate more but it wont show up any adittional codes a scanner wouldnt unless it wasnt comunicating

A typical T4 session for reading codes and setting a few options should be around 15-30 minutes. Investigation of error codes logged can take considerably longer.

t4 really seems prehistoric now compared with the ford and mazda IDS, so quick and much easier to use, t4 you have to lump about on that big trolley lol

think im going to need to cancel the session tomorrow as i dont have the Mk2 Fog light switch i bought yet. :(
