Hi Spec 4 Pot 310mm

I've taken my brakes off my ZS, I dont know alot about these brakes, other than they had brand new rotors, and pads at the turn of the year costing ?400, and have had little use. The are in good condition, and only need lines to complete the kit.

He is changing the wheels back to O/E so I guess these won't fit anymore.

Yes they are, and the issue has gone now I use the car regularly, they have ran fine for nearly a month, the problem was grabbing, and vibrating under braking. Not sure what solved the problem, maybe a sticking rear caliper as i didn't use the car much then, or a dodgey layer of pad. As for the poor pedal feel, again down to not using them on a track and getting up to temp, and I also found the second bleed nipple when taking them off.

I'm not selling them because they are broken, as I would state they are broken!! Thanks for you concern Kev, I assume you are interested in buying them seeing as you posting on the for sale thread, PM me if you have any other questions.

The reason for sale, is that I don't have as much money as I would like right now, and have no spare cash to spend on my beloved car. So I am taking off bits which are not necessary for road use, eg; selling my buckets seats which freed up ?350 which brought the standard brakes and interior, meaning I can sell the brakes, and have ?400ish to spend on the car, which will including buying a set of straights, so I can sell the OZ ultraleggas (which aren't broken), and getting the car on the rollers, and maybe re-mapped again.

This is the thread where I posted my brake issue, I have nothing to hide, but I'm sure everyone who might have been interested are now put off, better hope Kev does what to buy them. :smile1:

Andy, Thanks for the reply and as I said I remember the post about the issues you had, I'm glad you have managed to sort it out and turns out to be no issue with Hi-Spec setup, pity your selling as any 4 pot behind the ZS does make you stop and think what is under the bonnet to warrant 4 pot calipers!!
Anyway I would love to buy your setup BUT I have no amount of cash that goes anywhere near what your wanting, sorry bud.

Whoops make a mistake, I had a look at the invoice for the pads, and rotors, they were only ?321, you know what the old saying is; "buy cheap, buy twice" :evo:

for what its worth these calipers were refurbed only a few years ago.

the discs and pads were basicly brand new when i sold the car. a good setup for somebody however not sure what the problem is with them. just had a long pedal
