The stripdown has started!

As you know I had ro re-commission the zed recently due to the Discovery being off the road. Well due to that I had to take the dogs out somehow, the zed was used, albeit with lining the back seats. However I gave the zed a good clean today and started to rid the car of all dog hairs. I should be getting the Disco back this week.

I got carried away, I removed the rear seats to clean them thoroughly..........................but ended up removing everything!

No back seats.
No seatbelts.
No parcel shelf.
No boot lining.
No rear speakers.
No CD changer.
No rear trims.

Just left the spare wheel and jack in the well. Need to remove the door cards next. I'll be starting on the front sometime soon!

Kathy said why? easy, the Disco is the family car now and this is restricted to 3k miles a year and that'll be MG meets, track meets and trackdays. No need for passengers or kids or dogs! :D

Do you reckon there'll be interest in any of the parts? If so I'll post a thread in the relevant section.

I want some door cards for an experiment but alas I am not prepared to pay a lot for a set...

I may wait until I have stripped everything then decided whether to keep all the parts or not. I may wish to revert it back one day...................highly unlikely though! :smile1:

Yes, done that many times when building hotrods! Hot air paint stripper and scraper does the trick ;)

Tis smelly and messy but the stuff does weigh some!
