New BMC Fitted.
Got this yesterday and my first day off in a long time gave me a chance to fit it.
Its the BMC DIA enclosed induction kit and is made especially for my car. First time i have had a new, purpose made induction kit lol. This is the way its gonna stay and decided to fit it correctly. So i got an Samco Pipe to connect it to the OE cold air feed and am gonna get the same on the top half to the manifold. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00220.jpg It looks and sounds great, quite subtle and hopefully will give a wee boost, im getting the 52mm Throttle body soon so both together should help the car breath a bit better :) I like how its fitted correctly with all the proper parts and not a bit of tape in sight :) http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00225.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00224.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00223.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00222.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...k/DSC00221.jpg So another Samco for the top half and its done, all matching colour aswell :) |
Looking good Sammy....you'll soon be going to shows and raising your bonnet!!!!
bit of bling and your all the way! |
Looks good Sammy, bit rainy up there is it?
Lovely and sunny here, just done my car, will get some piccies up later. |
cheers guys, yeah it is wet sadly, stayed reasonably dry enough for me to fit it :)
wonder how much difference the BMC and the new TB when it comes will make? should it affect fuel consumption do you think? |
Looks good there.
Better spend some money and do good then using cheap stuff i always say. I got a Pipercross Viper and with my 52mm trottlebody i went to 125bhp |
im guessing thats on the 1.8 120? so if i went to 115, thatd be cool :)
|
Its now a 1.8 125 :beer2:
|
you could always try the vvc style inlet that will give a little gain ,or go the whole hog and get ptp's 140 kit.
