My MK2 180

Thought Id create a new thread now I am actually starting to do stuff.

Catch tank fitted, very simple job. My only worry is the bracket slightly toucheing the headlight wiring. I'll get some foam on it ASAP.

Thanks to Pete. used his pictures as reference.

Noted this coolant pipe starting to slip off, time for large jubilee clips I think

Cheeky pic from the side.

After the saga with the sheddist bleeding, the OE is back on and it was brilliant on my 350mile round trip to Headley court, new transmission fluid has worked wonders. Once I get the new hose I'll try to fit it again, it doesnt take long. I'll use Snoop to detect any air leaks.

Also I can hear my exhaust blowing somewhere, luckily I have x-power cat-back ready to go on.

Apologies for amateur photography :p

Looking good, your engine bay looks very clean makes mine look like it's been rally driving.

Some nice meaty 3/8 standard hose from http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/silicone_h...84.m1497.l2754

I was going to go braided, but it looks too over-stated for my liking.

Its handy using the 'eye' bracket to support the tight looping hose, gives it the extra support and constant curvature this pipe (IMO) requires.

When the ITG full kit is bought, I'll be putting twin Simota tanks where the OE filter housing is currently, space permitting.

Looking good mate :)
