Recommended Mobile MG-Rover Specialist
The MGF suffered a failed water pump 2 days after collecting it, not the ideal start to 'F' ownership! What with my back playing up and on pain killers I was in a pickle! I was given this guy to contact, Russell Walsh of www.mgroversolutions.com and he was excellent.
He got to my house about 2:15 today and by 3:10 it was running and finished by 3:30. K-series water pump and belt change for £150. Check his website for head gasket work as well. So anyone needing K-series work doing including the KV6, then contact Russell. He did say he can do the KV6 belts for £350 and he will travel. |
That's interesting, just pricing servicing up today!
|
Oooh... Belts need changing on the derv, might give him a call!
Have seen the layout of his pricing page before... Think he's been praised on .org many a time! :) |
I'll bookmark his website!

JeeeZ .... Good news on the price and service bit. Cheapest I've heard for belts with a recommendation.
You're due some good luck mate .... Here you are :santa: |
That looks interesting, the only thing that concerns me is that there is only 1 clue to his location and that is in the pricing menu, even the phone number isn't geographic.

I have not used him, but he also gets a good recommendation from the people he has travelled to to change the belts. |
Russell is based in Kent but will travel. He has been as far as Scotland and tends to book jobs in on the way back down so he can make the trip worthwhile.
He has been mentioned in MG Enthusiast and does not advertise as he does not need to. I told him to pop on here. |
The F/TF'ers on .org do nothing but rave about him. Dont think many garages like doing the belts on the F/TF's!
Thats a very good price for the Kv6 belts, Is that without parts?? |
