What Size Pipes
Just wondering what size pipes etc I need to run a cold air feed from inner wing to throttle body for a 180. Oh and does anyone know where I can get a cheap breather from for the idle control valve thingymajiggy??
Cheers :) |
I used 2 90deg aluminium bends and some 76mm silicone.
I actually have 600mm of silicone tubing left as I only used 400mm and bought a meter. Also I have a breather but it wont bolt straight on believe its 25mm diameter but will check if wanted. I think I may have some of the flexi Neoprene tubing thats also 76mm that I decided not to use. 76mm bends http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...20ZS/001-1.jpg 76mm silicone http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...20ZS/003-1.jpg My setup http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j1...20ZS/009-1.jpg |
Tb is about 71mm. 70mm (2" 3/4) is a standard size but 76mm (3") is cheaper and more common.
So my idea for a cheap induction kit is a 76/70 reducer. ?6 http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqF,!l0...1SGw~~0_12.JPG then a stainless bend, not alloy so I can Tig weld a "T" in for the idle ?12 http://i.ebayimg.com/00/$(KGrHqUOKjs...pE!Ew~~_12.JPG Options then are more pipe work to the inner wing with a quality open cone filter or a budget induction kit. ?45 http://i.ebayimg.com/23/!B9YmzT!B2k~...efww~~0_12.JPG Did you see the post on the guys that had the ITG style hose made by PSH ? I was going to give them a ring today, they may be more interested if they are making up a batch instead of one  |

I can always take a photo of the silicon pipe and posted up if people want to see it. It basically looks like the ITG pipe. |
Believe Car13 can get hold of the itg hoses. As hes a ITG dealer or linked to them through the vucan racing
