tbh i would spend my 240 on something else bud!but maybe thats just me
|
Its the best ?240 you will spend on the 180!
Had one in mine and it made a hell of a differance!!! |
Mine is a 1.4 k engine whit 105hp.
Do you thin i?ll notice a big diference too?? |

Will make a big difference to any car |
This will only give me better throttle response right?
Will I'll have a faster startup? Or is only a beter accelaration? |
It will let you blip the throttle much easier for better heal+toe down shifting.
Halved the weight of my flywheel in the old scooby, and it made sod all difference IMHO when the clutch was up and it was still dragging around the 4wd system. You seam to get better gains in the lower gears, but i never needed gains in the lower gears LOL Maybe 2nd/3rd gears in a ZS would benefit if you were exiting a corner, doubt you would get else much from it (apart from the nicer heel+toe) If you go toooooo light, sometimes you can get idle issues. BTW does anybody else really struggle with the heel+toe on the ZS? |
http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/FLYWHEEL.htm should help explain the principle
You'll gain acceleration in 1st t0 3rd |

Not sure if it was because I had been driving an 1.8 auto whilst the zs was being worked on, but the flywheel seems to make a big difference 1st to 3rd, put your foot down and it just seems to make it to the redline so much quicker!!! Although I did notice that at slow speeds you cant take your foot off the acclerator as it slows down alot quicker. The lightweight fly obvious doesnt keep the momentum the same as a heavier one. Not a problem just something to get used too. Id recommend one, If they added bhp to the car people would be queueing up for them. But imo its made more difference than any induction/ exhaust, not driven a 180 without cams but imagine it has a bigger effect then them too. |
