Front wheel bearing!!
My front bearing has gone!! From being quiet to really noisy in a day!!
Anyone wanna change it for me? |
Is it a 180? If it is, you'll need a bearing press.
My garage done mine for £80 - Including replacing hub studs |

Or goldie, whichever is easiest

I got a brand new QH bearing here if you want to buy it.

I have a bearing bought one by mistake ages ago. Just don't have a press
|
Now I reckon this press thingy is not exactly required. They can't be any harder to get out than a Vauxhall one surely? Warm it up between two house bricks and get a old long extension and a lump hammer into it. Pop new one in freezer for and hour or two warm hub up again and tap new one in. Anyone even tried it on here?
|
Heating them is how I changed mine, I didn't bother freezing the bearing, I just heated the suspension upright and the bearing dropped straight in.
|
Sure if you stripped it a garage would press it in for you for cheap
