Sheddist kit - What's it worth
As in the title, as we don't have a "what's it worth" section, I thought I'd stick it up in here.
So, a brand new, unused Sheddist kit with the instruction disc, I bought this 7 years ago in the expectation that the clutch hydraulics would shortly fail, however it hasn't happened yet so I've decided to move the kit on to someone who may have a more pressing need for one. As far as I know Nigel still makes these kits, but he seems to be hard to contact, and makes them up at a rate thats suits him rather than the demands of the market. Opinions then people, what would be a reasonable asking price, also this is just a what's it worth thread NOT a for sale thread, when I put it up for sale I will make a new thread in the For Sale section of the forum. Many thanks. |
Its still new so worth at least the cost from Nigel

And once it is sold your hydraulics will fail!

Hens teeth atm so what you paid i expect!
Has your zed got the v6 gearbox on pete? (Sideline question lol sorry!) My clutch arms hangs downwards is all! |
No, ti box on the zed Dan, this was bought for our 180, but as you say the pg1 on the T series operates in the opposite direction.
Same ratios as a 180 box though, but with a Quaife diff. |
thaaaank you! :)
good luck with the sale! |
It'l be worth what you paid for now, you'd probably get more... Such is demand. But once Dark Ice Design's kits are ready and the market for these kits has been unclogged, the price will probably drop sharply.

Used kits have sold for 150 so I say 180
I even offered Nigel an order for 30 to 40 kits that I would buy for stock if he could make them |
last year when i contacted him he said they were 157 delivered, but these are rare,so somebody, bound to need one,ive just bought 4 tyres and had them fitted today or i would have gave you an offer pete
