lowering springs
when they are fitted do you need to get in to the boot.

Yes as you will need to remove the rear shock absorbers to replace the springs!

are they bolted in behind the boot carpet on the sides

Yes they are behind the side carpet panels where the boot space is narrower! I suppose you may be able to get to them with the back seat folded down but would be awkward!

oh. want it lowered but dont want to remove my ampos that are on the sides of the boot.

lol same here cant fit the amps as will be covering up the struts but cant afford the springs at the mo dilema

I see your point I will be sorting the suspension before I start the boot build but it will be built in a way that I can still get to the suspension turrets and rear lights to change bulbs etc easily enough!
