Need some rubber

Gonna replace the tyres on the car soon as the ones on there are running low, and with these greasy roads thought I should upgrade.

What have people got fitted, on a tight budget so after the best performance for the least price (aren't we all!) Last few times have fitted toyo proxes 4 but just wondered what other recommend and where to get them.

Hankook EVO Ventus V12, good tyre and grip well.

with kev, on my second set now, fords have hankooks out the factory these days, and kias and a few other manufacturers

Agree on the Hankook Evo V12, have had them on for a couple of years now. Wear well and were a lot smoother and quieter than the ones I had on.

Ive got exactly the same question, in fact I was about to create a thread about it...

I was going to get Avon ZZ3s, how do they compare against the aforementioned Hankooks?

Steves Cleenz 19-01-12 09:05 PM

Goodride, bloody cheap and a really good grippy tyre in the dry and wet! I paid £50 each for them

I had some Avon zz3 and they worn unevenly, had a flat spot on one of the rear tyres, shook the crap out the car at speed

Supercharged_Z 19-01-12 09:09 PM

I ran zz3's on track and at pod and thought they were awsome infact they gave me my best 60ft ever even better than a r888 slick.

I rate the yokohomo somthing or other spec 2 :)

edit paradas or somthing like that..
