Dear god Mick... could you not actually steer these kids in the right direction ?

MickUK 26-06-13 06:46 PM

It was their choice Dan! It was either that, a fiesta or a micra!

What you saying Mick ... ? ... ;)

As it happens, I've got the viper stripes sitting in the shed .... soon as I work out how to get the spoiler off, they'll be going on ! Hopefully for Duxford.

Great work on the Escort though. Got some quality cars there for them to work on too.

Haha I done my level 2 then left it to take up on what i do now but Clydebank college was a bit of a joke tbh, the instructors had it easy as in they just let you decided what you wanted to do then watch you do it.... I remind a few boys trying to fit a old jag engine into a old vauxhall Carlton thinking they could get it to work... That and only having like 2 working cars..As with getting placements I was the only one who had one and had to get it myself as I knew the garage... So it turned into a part time job and nothing to do with the college haha.

The rover coupe the used to have they had it permentally up on the ramp and the ramp locked off so the local neds couldnt Steal from it...Apart from that it was top notch :D haha

Micra FTW.. my first car was a K10, blow the socks of any of the other popular starter cars (fiestas and novas etc)...

1235cc ( always bragged about that) and 5 speed box, mint car too, one of the ones i should never have sold !

Managed to blow the head gasket doing off the clock speeds down the M25 at reigate heading to junction 7 iirc (m23), pulled in to tesco at horley to find i had burst the heater matrix pipe...fixed that, then a week later the rad filled with oil and it blew the top hose...

Ahh those where the days.

Ah, Hookwood Tesco. Many a juvenile burn out in that big old car park!
