BRM Track Project
Well I posted a couple of WIP shots quite a while ago on this forum and I'm sure a lot of you have seen the many threads dotted about the various MG-Rover interweb forums, but for those that haven't here are some snaps of the finished (when I say finished, that's a lie as she never will be) article....

Still using the 1.8k and had to make some sacrifices to keep her road legal but the rough spec is.... - blanked vvc - ported head, 4 angle valve seats, tapered valve guides, etc - Piper 285h cams - Steel crank - Arrow rods - Omega pistons - Jenvey TB's - Carbon modified Elise airbox - Emerald ecu - Janspeed manifold, sports cat, etc Then there are some rather drastic suspension changes, she's on Gaz GGA Gold coilovers with custom suspension turrets to allow up to 6deg of camber. A lot more to her than that, but that's a very brief summary :) |
I like what you have done there, an interesting build spec. I would imagine that to be an extremely competent track tool. Nice to see a BRM still active on track.
