ive been trying to get on to themgzr.co.uk but it wont let me 4 some reason

any way my dad was driving my mg zr this morning to work and he said about a mile up the road the car coughed a few time and after that he said it was fine but he said the engine light has come on the car is driving fine but the light wont go off any ideas ppl

You need to plug it in to see what code throws up, possibly crank sensor or lambda.
