Never too old...............

Followed a Trophy Blue ZS180 today on way home from work, proper booting it, not seen one around my way so followed it to one of the local hotels.

Got out to have a look and to my amazement this little old dear got out, she must have been 75 if she was a day!!

Had a good chat with her, she was saying they have always had MG's of some fashion and her husband has a MGB but she prefers the ZS180 because "of the power and it gets you there faster" !!!

Can't fault her!

CLASS!

Well my Mum has a 180 and she's 62! She says she like's the low down power when joining motorways etc. Probably would get a fright if she stretched the legs on it lol. Would say bless her she's happy, but she's got a Skoda Fabia now as the MG has got a bit too difficult for her getting in and out with a bad back, but she gave it a fair innings have to say. Had it from 2002 and only just now selling it.

The most impressive I've seen tho was once admiring an Integra Type R only to see it park up and some old guy slowly get out with his missus too - both well into their 60s! Thought fair dos, he's determined and obviously wears the trousers when it comes to car choice, hope I fare as well at that age!

I'm racing our 180 and I'm 61; didn't get a race licence until 54. With luck another 10 years in me.
