Oil catch tank design

After looking at some catch tanks I have been thinking. Are the inlet and outlets to close together?

Oil mist coming in one and getting sucked straight out the other?

I?m thinking of making an aluminium divider to separate the 2 going about halfway down the tank.

What do you guy?s think, good idea or not?

A baffle plate, indeed. I just use an aluminum pan scourer to assist in retaining the oil itself, seems to do the trick for pennies. Nothing to lose with adding a baffle plate.

I have just made one out of card, just got to get it cut out of aluminium now :smile1:
