Same here this year, and when i did go compare it i couldnt get it much cheaper, so wasn't worth the hassle changing, still can't get my head around why its gone up so much in general this year, think the insurance co may have moved my postcode to the middle of chatsworth estate :look:,

Im really not looking forward to renewing mine next month... I already live in the centre of manchester.

They have supposedly gone up due to all the accidents last January/February with all that snow.

According to what I heard the insurance companies have been taking a big hit on policies cost for ten years or so and have decided to pass the cost back onto the punter surprise surprise

Mine went down this year.

They said that its gone up by 40% in generall I did shop around but couldnt save more than ?25.
