garymar1983 18-10-07 08:49 AM

my mate has a red ZS with white wheels, not normally my thing but I like it. There's a few blue ZRs with white wheels too

White powder coated wheels, yes ;) I am getting mine done before the year is out, just need to get my car sorn'd, wheels off, tyres off and then to my supplier to get blasted, fettled and baked :D

i'll wait to you get yours done see if i like or not. i'm guessing i will though.

i do love the car i'm semi thinking about knockhillng it to strecth her legs.

has anyone in ther zs180 tried to go for top speed.(i think mine is a bit poorly), and got no where near what book said. (this was done on private road of couse)

the leather is one reason why i chose the car, although this morning it was a tad cold to sit on!!!!!!

Unfortunately there are very few tracks to obtain the max speed, Thruxton possibly, but wouldn't fancy trying it there mind! I tried Brands and Combe, but no straights long enough!

That's all i'm gonna say, private test tracks and roads...................well we all know what that means........................ *cough xxxmph cough*

I wouldn't recommend Knockhill in the damp. My mate has is Mk1 180 up there same time as I had my ZR up and it was not happy in the corners at all. I followed it for a lap and the back end was all over the place.

He gave up quite quickly, I think it scared him too much.

And before anyone says that was with really good quality wet weather tyres too!
