hi mate right i have no idea what so ever about sound thingys lol
all i know is the lad i brought the car off had a boom box in the boot and removed it when i picked the car up so all the wires and so on are still in the boot is that all i will need to fit this and where abouts are you |
I am afraid it's not as easy as that lol. You will need an amplifier to run the Bass box. You can get one from halfords I think for about ?50. As you said if the wires are there already then it should be straight forward. I had it in my zt and it sounded great a big improvement.
I am in Livingston Scotland. Cheers John |
right so ill need an amp to
ok can you post or i drive up to inverness most weekends and go up on the m74 m9 a9 are any of those roads near you |

You'll need an amp thats suited to powering the sub, too. You could also do with finding out what gauge wire was used to run the cables to the boot, I guess the previous owner might know but you could just measure the diameter of the wire itself. And make sure that the amp wire is fused in the engine bay - wouldnt want one without a fuse! eBay is a good source for cheaper amps ;-)
And MG-JOCKEY, next time you're going down to York, try out the A697, its a nice road and the ZS will love it: road review clicky. |
hi mate sorry but dont need this anymore one of my soldiers has given me his old one
