I'll have them off you.

Does it sound weird that I did this conversion and noticed NO difference what-so-ever and the bushes were knackered that were removed (burnt off)

Stamford - PM'd mate.

James, did you change the other bushes, the ones on the UJ? They are the ones that give the sloppy feeling when they are worn if I'm not mistaken.

Done Lee, thanks.

If you have changed all the bushes on the linkage, the movement has got to be coming from something within the gearbox itself, or maybe the roll pin holding the UJ to the input shaft? Some people do away with the roll pin and use a high tensile bolt with a nut and lock it up tight to get rid of any play there. Also I think there is one other small bush where the gear change rod bolts to the selector? Best bet is to get under there and see where the play is coming from while someone moves the gear stick!

Cheers Stamford.
