PG1 Gearbox wanted
 

I'm looking for a known good PG1 gearbox, ideally next month.

The one I fitted is goosed so want to swap the diffs over and fit new bearings.

This means the known original box has to be refitted less the diff!

I don't have the time or the patience or the room to leave the zed on axle stands for a couple of weeks and rebuild the box, had enough of it already!

If nothing comes up that seems reasonable then I may have to take the latter option!

I reckon getting one down from your way to me might be a little costly when totalled up.

Transport costs won't be that fierce I don't think, a PG1 weighs 38Kg, I sent one in a plastic crate and it wasn't bad cost wise, I can't actually remember how much it was exactly:smile1:

Thanks, but have decided to look at rebuilding the one that came back off at some point.

rebuilding is usually the best route mick, then you know whats inside it

Exactly, plus it'll be a learning process stripping and rebuilding one.

No good for a V6 though, the V6 PG1 uses the same bolt pattern as the T series which is different to the K4
