Air con compressor issue
 

Air con compressor making an awful whirring and scraping noise seems as if the front plate on the pulley has come lose as its moving around. Any ideas?

It sounds like the bearing has collapsed tbh.

Or it's run dry. Sounds like either a regas with lube to try (seriously doubt it'd work) and quieten it or replace the compressor.

If replacing i have a secondhand one for £35 delivered.

Easy job to fit?
