Carpets, carpets, carpets
 

My 53 Zed has the cheaper Project Drive carpets rather than the earlier stuff. I've got a 1995 416 saloon with a mint interior and I'm thinking of swapping over the carpets. Does anyone know if the carpets for the main part of the car is different between 400 and ZS?

I believe they would swap ok, the only potential issue would be changing between 4 and 5 door cars.

The seat mounts are different so may require some fettling. You may also have problems around the front foot well if the earlier car had ducting to the rear for the heating and the latter didn't as there will be an area that stands proud.
