Raging.

So was heading up the road from work tonight doing about fifty on an a road when I hear an almighty clatter and then a bang and in the rear view mirror I see my bmc cda flying behind the car went back to see what I could salvage of it.which turned out to be nothing and to make matter worse the original airbox has a bit missing from it so that's no good for a replacement either so not bloody happy.

Bad news Grimmy. I had mine come loose on the mk1 when at Goodwood, luckily it was still attached to the bracket. Plenty of tank tape kept it there as it kept popping off. I found the BMC plastic collar was out of shape due to age and heat and wouldn't fit the hose cleanly. Now I've made a new collar, thicker and longer and used mikalor hose clips, that shouldn't move at all now! Wish I could help but don't have induction spares.
