Tyre size on standard Mk2 11 straights?

Hi

Can anyone tell me the standard tyre size for the MK2 180 17s?

The wife has just "hit something, now the tyre is hissing" :wall: so need to get some prices...

I think its 205/45/17 but not sure

WOMEN! :wall: :wall:

Thanks peeps

P.S. There is a spare isn't there?! She is getting the AA out to sort it as I'm at work

Yep... 205/45 R17 and if what i'm seeing is correct then the speed rating is 'W'.

You may have a spare, and then again you may not. :) I know i have. If it's one of the 'space saver' ones it has to go on the back though.

It was drivers front tyre but hopefully the AA will put the other rear on the front

I must have a spare! I hope!

the mk2 180 doesn't even have a space saver, you get a can of tyre weld and some safety goggles!

I didn't think it would fit. The Rover 400 floor pan doesn't have a big enough hole in it.

Perhaps it's just the later 180's that they ditched the space saver

I wish i knew lol

Wife is tied up so cant get to the car to check so I guess Iw ill find out when the AA turn up! I'm sure I remember something in the advert when I bought it about a space saver spare
