Does anybody else have a small electrical problem??

Just wondering if anybody else has the same problem as i do??? When the car is first started up all the power in the car (lights, heater blowers, elec windows etc) is on a low, but a second or so after starting everything powers up to full power.
Also for example, when the indicators are being used it dims on and off on the odometer as if there is a short. But this happens when any electrical item is used in the car???????
There must be some electrial expert out there.... I have done a battery test aswell and it is reading ok...

Something similar, my clock, trafficmaster, occasionally resets itself to 1300hrs. I'll check the rest on the way home tonight, it'll be dark then.

Check your positive connection to the battery/alternator.

Consider fitting a larger capacity battery.

Headlights on mine have always flickered a bit on start up - start car, reverse down drive a few car lengths and they then flicker brighter - probably just the inbuilt MGR gremlin making itself known.

the indicators are known to make the odometer display flicker. Check the alternator charging rate should be about 14volts with all the loads on.

When you say check the charging rate do you mean check the battery voltage level when the engine is running and with all lights etc on?
