What a productive evening on the ZS!
Well decided as it was a nice night to do a few things i had been meaning to do for a while :D
So took the car to Jim's (chars dad) and got to work! This is what i did... - I took an angle grinder to the exhaust and trimmed the end off, on the 110 is curved and points to the ground diesal style. - Refitted my chrome pipe and made it central then secured it firmly this time. - Had a slightly wobbly steering wheel so removed the airbag and tightened it further. problem solved :D - removed the left horn button on the wheel and connected the black wire which i had pulled out by accident. So i now have 2 working horns now :D - checked my oil level and (after a quick call to Kev for advice lol) i topped it up a bit :D - for a few days before i get the BMC i fitted an old open cone i had in the garage, gives a nice sound and when i get my new TB and BMC i should notice more of a difference. - finally gave the car a wash and tidied my boot then went for a drive and flyered a modified mk1 ZS hatchback, wonder if anyone will sign up that gets them on their car :D now im chilling with a beer :D |
