Sound proofing the car

Is Dynamat the best around or is there better? Seen a few versions on ebay.

ive used dynamat extreme on mine seems pretty good but quite pricy. Ive used 2 bulk packs in the boot and on the doors. Ive heard of people using roof flash repair from B&Q think I might buy some for the rest of the car. But second skin and Skinz are ment to be pretty good

Does the dynamat work well Jay?

Jay-ZS+ 06-02-09 05:00 PM

yer i was quite surprised i didnt expect much didnt think it would work well but much better than i expected. Just need to sort the rattle from the rear lights and will be great.
I got some bulk packs from ebay as found it cheaper.

I spent around £600 on dynamat extreme for my clio when i was doing the stereo in that. It is good stuff but you can easily go over the top with it to try and stop rattles outside.

Yer id agree with that id use it in the main areas then use a cheaper version else where

rakester 06-02-09 06:05 PM

Second skin is better imo
