to the forum. HGF is rare on the KV6 and will only happen if the car is not looked after, like any other car tbh. Yes they do have other issues, but easily sorted and no real hassle. I have owned mine for over 4.5 years and has covered 73k miles and in that time replaced the plenum, repaired the vis motors, replaced the clutch master and slave with the excellent 'sheddist' kit (£148 all in) and the usual consumables.
Keep at it, there are plenty of bargins to be had out there, it is a buyers market.
