If they said they didn't have it, what's the point in a visit for them to tell you the exact same thing ? Pointless journey in my book and one that'll just end up in a row.

I guess you could consider changing the locks ...

Then again, what the hell ..... you've got it insured, and that's why we pay it ..... you live 140 odd miles away and who from London would do that journey to steal your car ?

Glad you've got access to a mechanic for any problems you get with the car pal.

Now just get out and enjoy it !

Time to start lightening up everyone and let the guy enjoy his car.
