We've got two diesel MG's, and one petrol 25 in our family... No major problems from either of the diesels (one ZT, the other ZS), wish I could say the same for the 25 though!

My mums car hasn't even done 26k miles and it's had the head gasket done.. Never overheated, always service according to service schedule (on times, not mileage as it's done hardly any!).. Driven very conservatively by my 47 year old mother, so not ragged!

I personally would never buy a K-series MG/Rover
