At the end of the day the car is worth what you are willing to pay for it
If you do all the work yourself then chances are offering 1.5k - 2k will still be a bargain because you can fix everything yourself cheaper than the dealer (although point out to the seller the dealer prices to fix) Otherwise it could be another 1.5k - 2k bill from the main stealer to fix everything
Oh and I recommend a mini service as soon as you get any car, maybe worth doing a full service on this one though
