i always run them before i crack them, a cat runs mega hot like 1000degrees ish so get it hot, then spray wd on it and then crack the bolts off , wind them back then go and have a sit somewhere lol, the one coming off the manifold uually isnt too bad but the ones after the cat are usually just rusted lumps of metal, you really want some decent 6 sided sockets on them
