Not too convinced myself. For an idea just look at the MG montegos and meastros, they dont exactly attract mega bucks. I spose in 20 years they will be classics because they are old but not because it was a break through in automotive history. Dont get me wrong, I love my ZS and for the money there is nothing I would rather have but you just have to be realistic, they arent going to be the next e type jag. To most people its like saying will any other mass produced family hatchback / saloon become a classic.
Im sure if you put an immaculate one away with 5,000 miles on the clock and dry stored it for the next 15 / 20 years then someone would pay a few grand for it though.
