I've adjusted the timing.
I got the cam pulleys all lined up as in the pictures, marked the position on the big timing belt and on the casing. Took the belt off, moved the crank pulley 2 teeth, and re-applied the belt in exactly the same position as it was when it came off.
Essentially, the I've adjusted the crank pulley by two teeth, but not moved anything else.
I've turned it over by hand and everything is moving ok.
Got a few more bits to re-fit, and hopefully that'll fix it. Fingers crossed.
